Compact, flexible and budget-friendly: the ZA1-16N mini reliably switches up to 8 solenoid points and/or semaphore signals - with screw terminals and full Qdecoder performance.
Compact and compatible
Measuring 60 × 45 mm, the decoder also fits into tight installation spaces. Its geometry and connections are 100% identical to the proven Z1 decoder - ideal for replacement and retrofitting. Technically, it corresponds to the larger ZA1: full functionality, but without a housing and with screw terminals instead of a plug-in system.
More than points - lamps and simple signals
- Reliably switch up to 8 solenoid points (e.g. Märklin, Trix) and MTB MP1 drives
- Additional modes for 2- and 3-aspect signals as well as individual lamps (hard switching, no signal generator)
- dynamicPower: up to 4 amps of switching current for short periods for powerful drives
- Addresses and switching times can be freely configured
mini vs. deLuxe - the differences
- mini: compact, screw terminals, without housing - the best solution for price and space
- deLuxe: with housing and plug-in system - maximum installation convenience through simple plugging and unplugging
- Technology: identical functionality, including 4 A peaks and additional modes
Technical refinements
- dynamicPower: protects through current limiting and permits higher currents for short periods
- Robust outputs; compatible with DCC and Motorola
- Clear wiring via screw terminals
Conclusion
The Qdecoder ZA1-16N mini offers the performance of the larger ZA1 in a small, attractively priced format - ideal for layouts with limited space and high requirements.
