Traxxas Stampede 1:10 2WD RTR Monster Truck, Green (TRX136454-4-GRN)

Inspired by the toughness of Maxx trucks, Stampede's new chassis integrates the shock towers with the main frame into a single rigid platform. Front and rear bulkheads lock into the chassis to absorb and dissipate impact energy across the entire structure, while new thicker skid plates add extra rigidity and protect the chassis from ground impacts.

Stampede's clipless body features a tough, injection-moulded grille and tailgate panel to reinforce the clipless mounts. Press the body down and the self-energising latches snap shut to hold it firmly in place. Engage the Bash-Locks and those latches are secured, unable to disengage until deliberately released.

Functioning like a sport setting on a car, Punch Control gives drivers instant command over throttle response. Turn the Multi-Function knob up for explosive launches and hard-hitting acceleration, or turn it down for smooth, controlled power delivery, adjustable to suit any surface.

Stampede's all-new suspension design pairs double wishbones for huge travel with composite GTR shocks that provide a plush ride, keeping all four tyres in contact with the ground. The double wishbone layout maintains ideal suspension geometry throughout, and extreme HD suspension components are designed for the most demanding bash sessions.

The Talon MXT tyres feature an angled tread pattern that creates extreme forward bite on loose surfaces, with an open-block design to clear away mud and debris. The tyres come mounted and glued to rugged monster truck wheels, which include removable centre hubs.

Stampede's Velineon 3s power system is a brushless powerhouse that transforms 3s LiPo power into brutal acceleration and 50+ mph speed, straight out of the box with no gearing changes required. The fan-cooled VX3 speed control is feature-packed and simple to use, with EZ-Set one-button programming, while the V3200 motor delivers speed, power, and efficiency.

Stampede's tough reinforced front bumper is built to protect the chassis against impacts. A high approach angle allows the truck to climb up and over kerbs and other obstacles with ease. The reinforced construction and approach angle together make for a functional and purposeful front end.

Stampede comes battle-hardened with large injection-moulded front grille and rear tailgate body reinforcements. As well as enhancing the truck's appearance, the reinforcements provide a large mounting point for the clipless latches to spread out impact forces across the body.

Stampede rides on large 2.8in black monster truck wheels with a removable centre insert, contributing to the truck's towering stance. Front and rear wheel offsets are identical, meaning the same wheel and tyre combination is used at both ends of the truck.

Described as an absolute necessity on a vehicle with the power and speed potential of the Stampede 2WD Brushless, the reinforced wheelie bar provides additional impact resistance for the bumper and doubles as a convenient carry handle. Larger wheels contribute additional stability for Stampede's epic wheelies.

Stampede's HD suspension arms are moulded from a tough composite that provides just enough flex to resist breaking. The double-wishbone design is stronger than standard camber links, with double-shear connections for greater impact resistance and stability. GTR shocks mount inside the arms for added protection.

Stampede's hex-drive hardware delivers a more positive and secure connection than other fasteners throughout the truck. The black-oxide coating provides a rust-resistant surface with a clean, high-tech look and feel.

The TQi Sport receiver is compatible with all TQi and TQi transmitters. A built-in failsafe returns the throttle to neutral and holds the steering in the last known position should a signal loss occur.

Stampede's clipless body mounts are integrated directly into the shock towers for extra rigidity. Bash Locks secure the latches firmly in place, keeping the body held securely during extreme bashing and high-altitude flight.

The waterproof receiver box on Stampede is located between the front shock towers for maximum protection. It features a patented O-ring sealed cover that keeps water out of the receiver compartment.

Stampede's high-performance bellcrank steering system nearly eliminates bump steer, giving precise wheel placement and increased cornering stability. A cam-operated servo saver works alongside the system to increase steering precision while protecting the servo against impacts.

Engineered for maximum strength, Extreme Heavy-Duty components fortify the Stampede 2WD with a full complement of driveline and suspension upgrades, designed to work together as a complete package. These components set a new standard for durability in extreme bash conditions.

The Stampede 2WD features a metal-gear servo with the durability of an all-metal gear train. The servo delivers quick, precise control, and the fully waterproof construction brings both security and convenience to the steering system.

Stampede holds batteries securely in place with a rugged clipless battery strap. Swing the heavy-duty strap up and out of the way to swap batteries, then snap the tab into the latch to lock it down. The battery stays firmly secured until you choose to release it.

Stampede's chassis nerf bars provide side impact protection as well as structural support for the clipless body. They also offer a secure mounting point for optional underglow lighting, which is sold separately.

Stampede's wiring is routed through an integrated channel in the chassis, keeping all cables secure and looking great. The channel also incorporates provisions for the optional LED light kit, sold separately.

Stampede's shock towers are integrated directly into the chassis to increase torsional rigidity, reducing flex and twist. The shocks and suspension arms connect to the chassis through double-shear connections for superior strength, and the more rigid structure allows the suspension to soak up impacts without upsetting the chassis.

The fully waterproof VX3 ESC handles 2-cell or 3-cell LiPo power and delivers 50+ mph performance, with Traxxas EZ-Set one-button programming for simple setup. A large aluminium heat sink with cooling fan keeps temperatures down. Additional features include race-inspired High-Resolution Linear Braking and real-time telemetry via Traxxas Link, which requires the optional wireless module, sold separately.

Stampede runs XX-long GTR shocks at all four corners for increased suspension travel and a plush ride. Holding over 70% more oil than standard Ultra Shocks, they deliver consistent damping performance. Spring preload and ride height are adjusted by turning the threaded collar, and spring retainers are captured with a screw to keep them secured.

Stampede's Extreme HD driveshafts are reinforced in critical areas to handle the power of the Velineon 3s brushless system. The large-diameter half shafts offer excellent articulation and suspension travel while putting massive torque to the ground.

The V3200 motor is optimised for extreme power and efficiency with 3-cell LiPo batteries and a large 5 mm output shaft. Its patent-pending design uses ultra-high-temperature sintered Neodymium magnets for massive torque and linear power delivery. High-speed ball bearings and an integrated cooling fan complete this low-maintenance design.

The Magnum 272 transmission features all-metal gear internals running on ultra-smooth sealed ball bearings, together with the upgraded top shaft carried over from the 272R racing transmission. The sealed gearbox keeps the transmission components protected from dirt and rocks.

Stampede 2WD pairs a large 5 mm motor output shaft with 32-pitch pinion and spur gears. At nearly 1.5 times the size of standard 48-pitch gears, the 32-pitch gearing is designed to deliver maximum durability.

The Torque-Control slipper clutch uses semi-metallic friction material and finned aluminium alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide consistent traction control. Spur gears can be removed and replaced without altering the slipper adjustment.

Stampede 2WD fits rubber-sealed ball bearings at all exposed locations on the truck. This type of bearing offers super low-friction performance and maximum protection in dusty environments, and is virtually maintenance free.

The composite planetary gear differential combines a steel ring gear with hardened steel internal gears for strength during rigorous off-road bashing. The design requires virtually no maintenance, and its efficient construction channels maximum tyre-shredding torque directly to the wheels.
