Micro Sol MI-2 is a setting solution formulated to soften decals, allowing them to conform better to irregular surfaces, such as panel lines, rivets, and contours. It works by softening the decal film, enabling it to settle into surface details and eliminate the appearance of silvering (air bubbles) for a smooth and realistic finish. This solution is particularly useful for applying decals on models with intricate surface features.
Key Features:
Softens Decals: Micro Sol softens decals, making them more pliable and easier to conform to complex shapes and surface details.
Enhanced Adhesion: The solution improves the adhesion of decals to surfaces, ensuring they stick firmly and securely for long-lasting results.
Eliminates Silvering: By softening the decal film, Micro Sol reduces the appearance of silvering, resulting in a seamless and professional-looking finish.
Conforms to Contours: It allows decals to settle into surface details, such as recessed panel lines and raised rivets, creating a realistic appearance.
Versatile Application: Micro Sol is suitable for use on various surfaces commonly encountered in model-making, including plastic, resin, and metal.
Easy Application: The solution can be applied with a brush or cotton swab, and it dries quickly, facilitating efficient workflow during the decal application process.
