The Dax had a distinctive T-bone frame crafted in pressed steel which housed the fuel tank, and centrifugal clutch engine. It was designed to be ridden by anyone, anywhere, and its charming, distinctive form was loved all around the world. Although its Japanese sales finished in 1981, the Dax returned in 1995 with a similar design to the original. In 2022, Honda announced the Dax125 which inherits the established Dax identity, incorporating elements such as the T-bone frame, a long bench seat, a chrome upswept muffler and more.

It can be ridden both on city streets and the open road. Owners can choose between the rich tone of pearl nebula red and understated yet elegant pearl cadet gray for the body. This Dax125 has a limited edition: the Dax 125 Tamiya Limited Edition - the idea of official Honda dealer Cub House in Thailand - which was announced at the 2023 Bangkok International Motor Show. It employs a sumptuous metallic blue body adorned with Tamiya twin star logos plus some chequered flag motifs to get the pulse racing.

With dedicated stickers for the muffler heat guard and wheel rims, this version features a horn cover with Dachshund emblem, dedicated serial number for each of these limited edition bikes, and dedicated helmet with Tamiya logo. It certainly fascinated motorcycle fans - whether that be full size or in miniature scale – across the globe.

    • This is a 1/12 scale model assembly kit. Length: 147mm, height: 67mm, height: 103mm.
    • The diminutive, charming form of the Dax125 featuring the T-bone frame is authentically and succinctly captured in style.
    • Main components such as engine, swing arm, front fork and muffler are attached to the frame by screws.
    • The actual bike’s metal-plated sections such as muffler guard and side covers are depicted by metal-plated parts.
    • Plastic parts moulded in blue, silver colour, black and clear (transparent) help modellers imagine the colour scheme of the Honda Dax125 Tamiya Limited Edition.
    • Front/rear synthetic rubber tires have realistic depictions of tread patterns, and the seat has authentic renderings of leather pattern
    • Includes a dedicated metal spring for rear damper spring, and vinyl pipes for accel wiring, brake hose and plug cord.
    • Choose between the normal version (pearl nebula red or pearl cadet gray) and the Tamiya Limited Edition.
    • The special helmet with the Tamiya logo – which buyers can get only when purchasing the Tamiya Limited Edition – is also recreated.
