LGB – Lehmann Gross Bahn

LGB (Lehmann Gross Bahn — "Lehmann's Big Railway") invented the garden railway concept in 1968 and remains the gold standard for large-scale outdoor model railways. LGB trains are designed to run outdoors in all weather conditions — rain, frost, snow and sunshine — with robust construction and corrosion-resistant materials.

The range covers narrow gauge prototypes from European alpine railways — Rhaetian Railway (RhB), Zillertalbahn, Harz Railway and many more — alongside generic industrial and garden railway designs. LGB locomotives are renowned for their pulling power, smooth running and longevity, with many models still going strong after 30+ years.
