The primary requirement however was to develop a ‘state of the art’ modern aircraft able to perform low-altitude penetrating strike missions. This need was met by the development of a twin-engine combat aircraft with a variable-sweep wing. The Tornado IDS (Interdictor \/ strike) was the first version to be released by the British Royal Air Force and designated GR.1 Tornado IDS (Interdictor \/ strike), an aircraft ideally suited to attack roles, was the initial version used by the Flight Squadrons of the three countries that developed the plane, the Italian Aeronautica Militare , the German Luftwaffe and the UK RAF. The Tornado ECR (Electronic Combat \/ Reconnaissance) was developed by Italy and Germany and was equipped to carry out missions that suppressed enemy air defences (SEAD), and to conduct electronic warfare and advanced reconnaissance.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n                ","brand":"Italeri","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57221364023669,"sku":"IT2517","price":145.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0689\/4590\/3920\/files\/IT2517_2.jpg?v=1793135605","url":"https:\/\/accessmodels.co.uk\/products\/panavia-tornado-ids-ecr","provider":"Access Models","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
