Developed in strict collaboration with the DF International Class Association (DFICA), this elite racing yacht is engineered to guarantee a level-performance playing field, meaning victories are decided purely by tactical skill on the helm.

The V3 edition introduces extensive build-quality upgrades designed to maximise bankside reliability and longevity without altering the class-legal physics of the vessel. The sleek, lightweight moulded plastic hull is fully painted and features a high-rigidity moulded carbon-fibre keel paired with a zinc ballast bulb for exceptional self-righting stability. The high-performance rig features 50-micron mylar film racing sails complete with pre-painted flow stripes for immediate wind-tracking visibility.

At the heart of the V3 upgrade is the brand-new Digital DF Racing sailwinch servo. This precision component delivers vastly superior consistency and end-point accuracy over previous iterations, allowing for hyper-precise sail trimming. The steering linkages have been tightened using a stronger nylon rudder servo arm and a refined metal rudder arm to eliminate slop. Built entirely with premium, rust-resistant stainless steel bearings and 316-grade stainless steel deck hardware, the DF95 V3 is built to withstand rigorous competitive environments.

The DragonFlite 95 V3 is supplied in two distinct configurations to suit your current equipment layout: the RTR (Ready To Run) version which includes a premium Flysky i6 2.4GHz radio setup, or the ARTR (Almost Ready To Run) version for pilots who wish to utilise their own transmitter and receiver.

Key V3 Class Updates:

Advanced Digital Sailwinch: Features the updated digital racing winch for highly consistent line control and perfect end-point repeatability.

Upgraded Marine Bearings: Fitted with premium stainless steel bearings to significantly reduce the potential for corrosion in damp environments.

Top-Accessible Power Switch: Refined servo tray geometry permits the power switch to be installed directly from the top, avoiding full tray removal.

Reinforced Sails & Rigging: Sails feature dual-layer corner reinforcement patches for enhanced stiffness, alongside a shortened stainless steel jib forestay wire for an extended adjustment range.

Strengthened Structural Components: Includes a thickened mainsheet bridle plate and flat-head tray attachment screws to eliminate stress-cracking.

What's in the box

Fully painted and decorated moulded plastic hull

50-micron mylar film racing sails with flow stripes

Moulded carbon-fibre keel with zinc ballast bulb

High-torque metal-geared digital rudder servo

New-generation Digital DF Racing sailwinch servo

Dual-position display stand (moulded plastic and glass-fibre construction)

Needed to complete

A minimum of a 2-channel 2.4GHz radio system (transmitter and receiver)

8x AA alkaline batteries

https://accessmodels.co.uk/products/joysway-dragon-flite-95-v3-df95-racing-class-sailboat-artr-joy8811av3
